Raised-Face Flange Protector Covers
Flange protector covers are used to protect flange faces from damage during shipping and handling.
Molded plastic (low-density polyethylene) press-in flange protectors are a convenient way to protect the raised face of 150# and 300# class (ASME) flanges.
Self-adhesive plastic (high-density polyethylene) discs are available for all flange pressure classes. Simply peel the adhesive backing and apply to the flange face. This style of flange protector is frequently used in manufacturing operations like sandblasting and painting.
